~~~ KNOWING JESUS ~~~
Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me”. (John 10:27)
Jesus also said, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you whopractice lawlessness!'” (Matthew 7:21-23)
The apostle John knew what Jesus was talking about, when he wrote, “Now by this we know that we know [Jesus], if we keep His commandments. He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” (1John 1:1).
John was shown in prophetical vision that in the last days the issue that divides those who truly follow Jesus from those who don’t would revolve, in part, around keeping the commandments. John defined those who truly belong as those who, with patient endurance, “keep the commandments of God and faith of Jesus”. (Revelation 14:12). John added, “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.” (Revelation 22:14).
Jesus told us, through His Word, to keep His commandments if we love Him (John 14:15) and to “come out of” a counterfeit Christian church that would develop fully in the last days, a church which would, through the centuries, be created by Satan himself to distort the teachings of the Bible and, ultimately, bring worship unto himself. (Revelation 18:4,17:5, 13:4)
WHAT does this have to do with you and me and the documentary, below? Pretty much, everything. Please, watch, learn, share and grow deeply in your relationship with Jesus Christ…
