I watch documentaries and personal informative or editorial videos only to the point that the views expressed seem well-substantiated with reasonable evidence. I do not have time to do otherwise. My primary interest is to understand the intricacies of current and historical world events as they relate to apocalyptic (end-time) Bible prophecy. My interest is spurred on by Jesus’ words, “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”- and this in context of the whole of Luke, chapter 21. My interest grows, in part, from a personal realization that there is profound truth in the promise of Revelation 1:3, “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand…”.
So, I watched all of this nearly 3 hour documentary on the financial meltdown of 2008. I learned, summarily, that there are a very small percentage of people on this planet who rule the finances of it, and they serve themselves only at the expense of all others. I learned that the conditions which led to the meltdown still exist. Therefore, on this knowledge alone I suspect another meltdown will occur. I suspect, based on other information I’ve gleaned that it will happen in my foreseeable future.
When I analyze this information in the light of Biblical apocalyptic prophecy, not only the events that occur in convergence with one another (like wars, famines, disease, etc. of Matthew 24) but also the “role-players” and their roles (the counterfeit church of Jesus, the “land beast” of Rev 13 that forces allegiance to that church), I believe that the meltdown we have seen and the meltdown we are about to see is created and manipulated by Satan himself, through human agents, “behind the scenes”, with the goal of deceiving the world into turning to the head of the counterfeit church of Christ for leadership and solutions- that very church that has already received its “power”, “throne” and “great authority” from Satan. (Rev 13:2). Satan does this because, ultimately, he will be worshipped by the world (except for those few who don’t- Rev 14:12) through its allegiance to this counterfeit church- “And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?” (Rev 13:4).
My point in even sharing this post is to draw my FB friends, and their friends, to a serious study of Bible apocalyptic prophecy and through that a deeper understanding of and closer, loving and worshipful relationship to the god of the Bible, Jesus Christ. The money stuff is not really that important for eternity… but one’s relationship to Jesus is.
This is a great place to start:
