What day is the Sabbath?
Is it the 1st day Sunday or the 7th day Saturday? Was it changed when Jesus died?

Matthew 28:1 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
So this says, after Saturday, the 7th day, the Sabbath, the dawn of the 1st day came, Sunday… So what day is God’s Sabbath?
Jesus died on Friday and they took him down from the cross before the Sabbath started, which was the next day, Saturday, the 7th day.
John 19:31 Now then, since it was the day of preparation, to prevent the bodies from remaining on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews requested of Pilate that their legs be broken, and the bodies be taken away.
So the next day was Sabbath.
Some say the Sabbath was made for Israel, many say it’s for the Jews. The Sabbath was established in the very beginning:
Genesis 2:3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because on it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
This was long before Israel existed, long before there were any Jewish people.
Was the Sabbath continued in the New Testament?
