I came across some disturbing information while reading what was written on a catholic site called Fatima. This is a site from the papacy, to take your worship from God and point it toward Mary. Don’t misunderstand me, Mary is blessed among women, but nowhere does God’s word say more than that. In fact, when Jesus was told his mother and brothers were outside, he told the truth of her importance:

Matthew 12:47 Someone said to Him, “Behold, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside seeking to speak to You.” 48 But Jesus answered the one who was telling Him and said, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” 49 And stretching out His hand toward His disciples, He said, “Behold My mother and My brothers! 50 “For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother.”

This clearly shows that that anyone who does the will of God, are equal to Mary. This is from the mouth of Jesus, and it’s about me, you, anyone who does the will of God.

The catholic church claims that Mary was without sin from birth. Here is a quote from the catholic church, “The Immaculate Conception means that Mary, whose conception was brought about the normal way, was conceived without original sin or its stain (source catholic.com)” Yet in the Bible Mary herself called God her savior, but why would she need a “savior”, how could she be saved if she was without sin? Luke 1:46, 47 And Mary said: “My soul exalts the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. Another part of God’s word says Romans 3:22,23 & 24 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. I don’t see “except Mary”, no, it says ALL have sinned.

From this, I read how they twist scripture. The catholic church refers to the time the angel came to Mary and said “hail, full of grace”. Then they go on to explain how this means she is without sin, but I went to the original Hebrew text and this is what it says:

charitoó: to make graceful, endow with grace
Original Word: χαριτόω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: charitoó
Phonetic Spelling: (khar-ee-to’-o)
Short Definition: I favor, bestow freely on
Definition: I favor, bestow freely on.

I see nothing more than being favored, as was David, a man after God’s heart.

The more I read writings from the catholic church, the more I can’t believe anyone would want to be a catholic. They twist scripture, they leave out verses, they take verses out of context and worst, they make up wrongful meanings of verses or add to them.

Read this from fatima.org (page here):

At Fatima Our Lady said that God wished to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our Lady said that many souls would be saved from Hell and the annihilation of nations averted if, in time, devotion to Her Immaculate Heart were established principally by these two means:

1) the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by the Pope together with the world’s bishops in a solemn public ceremony, and

(2) the practice or receiving Holy Communion (and other specific devotions of about 1/2 hour in duration) in reparation for the sins committed against the Blessed Virgin Mary, on the first Saturdays of five consecutive months–a practice known to Catholics as “the First Saturday” devotion. This goes against the Bible, there is only one way to be saved from Hell and annihilation, and that’s through Jesus, this is blasphemy. The Bible states:
